Filming is deep underway for James Gunn’s next film, Man of Tomorrow, and following last week’s viral Lex Luthor war suit scenes, casting is underway for more scenes in Atlanta, Georgia.

The studio, under its production name Exodus, is casting background actors to play Brazilians in an authentic Brazilian market scene. This suggests that Man of Tomorrow, like its predecessor Superman, will be a globetrotting adventure and will travel to real-world countries in canon, compared to Superman‘s Boravia and Jarhanpur.

Man of Tomorrow is set to be the fourth DC Studios film, following the release of Superman, Supergirl, and Clayface, directly addressing the events of the first film, whilst continuing the ever expanding scope of the DC Universe: Chapter One – Gods & Monsters.

Man of Tomorrow stars Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, David Corenswet as Superman, Lars Eidinger as Brainiac, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Adria Arjona as Maxima, Aaron Pierre as John Stewart, Isabel Merced as Hawkgirl, and many more.

The film is currently in production in Atlanta and once done shooting there, it will move to Cleveland, Ohio, for its Metropolis sequences.
