‘Avatar: Seven Havens’ Gets Teaser Trailer & Release Date
San Diego Comic Con brings us our first teaser at the next mainline series in the ‘Last Airbender’ franchise, ‘Avatar: Seven Havens’.
Avatar Studios returns in full force in this year’s San Diego Comic Con, starting with some behind the scenes looks at the upcoming Avatar Aang, an update on the upcoming Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game and most importantly, the teaser trailer for the next mainline series in the franchise. You can view the teaser trailer for Avatar: Seven Havens below:
The trailer, which lasts for 1 minute and 42 seconds, opens to the sky where we see an aurora borealis then the camera moves down to reveal something making their way through the desert. The next shot zooms in to reveal that it’s Pavi (Saheli Khan) and in the next scene she asks “why do you look like… me?” We then see her twin sister Nisha (Aishu Devan) it appears that Pavi has never met Nisha before. An offscreen voice says that Alaura (a city) needs to be prepared, we see shots of the world in absolute disaster, this voice mentions that the Avatar let them down and we see a glimpse of an older, sinister looking Korra.
In a cave, Pavi meets Jae (Major Curia) but their introduction is cut short as the ceiling begins to collapse. Pavi and Nisha are seen running along a city’s walls while Jae uses airbending while facing off against a masked foe. In the next shot Pavi protects Nisha using earthbending while the masked foe uses firebending against Jae. We see a brief glimpse of another airbender before we cut to Pavi and Nisha seemingly training and then Jae is carrying someone on his hoverboard-like device while he escapes falling debris. More quick shots follow, including Pavi seemingly trying to use sandbending, Nisha hugging Pavi, a group of raiders approaching a camp in the desert and one of the sisters being taken away.
The release date of October 9th, 2026 is shown as we cut to Pavi. An offscreen voice says, “Humanity is not ready for the avatar’s return. And yet, it’s the one thing this world needs the most.” Pavi witnesses a tornado and storm approaching one of the cities before we cut to a tagline, “New Legends Will Rise” followed by the series’ official logo. The trailer ends with a something being summoned which bears close resemblance to the spirit of darkness and chaos, Vaatu.
