‘From The World Of John Wick: Ballerina’ Gets CCXP Extended Look Showcasing New Footage

With CCXP celebrations in full force over the past weekend, Lionsgate gave the audience new looks at Ballerina, starring Ana de Armas. Watch the Ballerina CCXP Extended Look below.
One of film’s premiere action franchises, John Wick, continues its run of programming with the promotion for Ballerina ramping up. The film, directed by Len Wiseman and set between the events of John Wick Chapters 3 & 4, follows the life of Eve Macarro, a Russian assassin who crosses the boundaries of ballet and ruthless killing, aiming for revenge against her father’s murderers. The official logline of the film reads as follows:
The world of John Wick expands with Ballerina, as Ana de Armas stars as an assassin trained in the traditions of the Ruska Roma.
The featurette, which you can watch above, sees interviews with cast and crew members, including the likes of Ana de Armas, Keanu Reeves, Chad Stahelski, Ian McShane, Norman Reedus, Len Wiseman, Erica Lee, and the late Lance Reddick.
The featurette details some of the stunts that went into the film, with de Armas stating she set 106 people on fire with a flamethrower as part of filming. Franchise overseer Chad Stahelski also commented on the character of Eve, stating that she is her own person and not a John Wick (Keanu Reeves) clone, quenching the fears of avid fans.
From The World Of John Wick: Ballerina is directed by Len Wiseman and stars Ana de Armas as Eve Macarro, Anjelica Huston as The Director, Keanu Reeves as John Wick, Ian McShane as Winston Scott, Norman Reedus as Pine, and Lance Reddick as Charon, one final time. The film is due out in theatres on June 6, 2025.
