First announced at CinemaCon in April 2022, Venom: The Last Dance is one of the most anticipated Marvel movies. Soon after the CinemaCon announcement, Kelly Marcel was announced as the screenwriter by Tom Hardy. Subsequently, it would be announced as Marcel’s directorial debut.
Filming began at the end of June 2023 in Spain but was put on pause due to the SAG-AFTRA strike. After the strike ended, filming resumed in November 2023 and continued on until February 2024.
What is ‘Venom: The Last Dance’ About?
The film will see the invasion alluded to in Venom occur as symbiote-eating creatures known as Xenophages invade Earth. Eddie and Venom (both played by Tom Hardy) are being chased by the military, and soon the duo will have to fight off both evils in the final film.

In Venom: The Last Dance, Tom Hardy returns as Venom, one of Marvel’s greatest and most complex characters, for the final film in the trilogy. Eddie and Venom are on the run. Hunted by both of their worlds and with the net closing in, the duo are forced into a devastating decision that will bring the curtains down on Venom and Eddie’s last dance.

Venom: The Last Dance will be released on October 25th, 2024 worldwide.
How Long Is ‘Venom: The Last Dance’?
Venom: The Last Dance has a runtime of 1 hour and 50 minutes. Credits last for 15 minutes making the film 1 hour and 35 minutes without it.
This makes the film 2 minutes shorter than Venom (1 hour, 52 minutes) and 13 minutes longer than Venom: Let There Be Carnage (1 hour, 37 minutes).
Where Can I Watch ‘Venom: The Last Dance’?
Venom: The Last Dance will be available in theatres on October 25th, 2024.
Per the deal made between Sony and Netflix, Venom: The Last Dance will stream on Netflix in the US after its theatrical run.
After a period of time, Venom: The Last Dance will then be available on Disney+ according to the deal made between Sony and Disney.
