The next DC series, Beast Boy: Lone Wolf, has just received a trailer and a release date.
Following a successful weekend at New York Comic Con, DC is back for yet another series. This time, it’s Beast Boy: Lone Wolf, which now has a trailer, first official stills and a release date for the United Kingdom.

In the promo, we can see Beast Boy transform into a variety of animals as he combats crime in the series, including a snake, a wolf, a rhinoceros and more.
Beast Boy: Lone Wolf follows Gar Logan / Beast Boy as he battles crime in an all-new solo adventure. Rhys Byfield directs the series, which consists of 10 shorts. Back when it was announced, Variety writer John Hopewell described a first look as a “very different proposition than the wacky Teen Titans Go! with more of an action edge.”
The release strategy has some fans worrying, considering the just-announced release date of October 28 is very close to these first looks. This has led some DC die-hards to believe the Hanna-Barbera Studios’ production is being dumped on Cartoon Network UK.

As you can see above, the episode titles refer to the villains of the episodes and it seems Beast Boy will face up against several iconic DC villains, including Killer Moth and Starro, with the latter recently appearing in James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad.
Beast Boy: Lone Wolf is directed by Rhys Byfield and will consist of ten total episodes. A cast has not been revealed. It is produced by Hanna-Barbera Studios for Cartoon Network UK and Cartoon Network EMEA. Beast Boy: Lone Wolf releases in the UK on October 28, 2024 on YouTube and Cartoon Network UK and will release 3 episodes a day from the 28th to the 30th, and will release its finale on Halloween (October 31). The series will hit EMEA streaming services in 2025.
