New ‘Supergirl’ Poster & Promo Reveals Trailer Release Time

Supergirl marketing is finally ramping up. Early today a New York Times Square countdown appeared counting down to something Supergirl related. It turns out that something was a poster and yet another promo for the full teaser, this one a little more revealing than the one earlier this week. See the poster and promo below:

What Happens In The New ‘Supergirl’ Promo?

The new promo begins with Supergirl over a blue brick wall, similar to that of the poster, wearing a walkman listening to the song “Call Me” by Blondie. The song is remixed in a more epic tone and without lyrics, it shows Supergirl walking in a dusty or foggy foreground. The promo also shows her putting out a flaming drink (a Flaming Moe?) with her freeze breath, before the next shot shows her leaving a planet’s atmosphere with super speed.

A flashback to Krypton, giving us our first canonical looks at the planet in the DC Universe, is showcased also, showing a bunch of Kryptonians (10+) walking from the left of frame to the right carrying what looks to be an obelisk of some sort. Several humanoids, likely aliens, aim their guns at Kara who is surrounded with their laser sights on her and Eve Ridley’s Rutheye. The promo ends with Supergirl taking off her headphones before the logo flashes and announces that a trailer will be releasing tomorrow.

When Does The ‘Supergirl’ Trailer Release?

The Supergirl trailer will be released online on Thursday, December 11th, 2025. See below to see what time the trailer releases around the world.

Supergirl is directed by Craig Gillespie and stars Milly Alcock as Supergirl, Jason Momoa as Lobo, Eve Ridley as Rutheye Marye Knoll, and Matthias Schoenaerts. The film releases in theatres June 26, 2026.
