The second trailer was shown recently at The Game Awards 2025 on December 11th, 2025. This trailer showed off the cast of characters we’ll encounter both Villains & Heroes alike. We also learnt that the game will release on May 29th, 2026 with Standard and Deluxe Editions available to pre-order now, the Nintendo Switch 2 version was unfortunately delayed.

How Long Is The Story Of ‘LEGO Batman: Legacy Of The Dark Knight’?

Twitter / X Account LEGO Games News (@LEGOTtNewsI) has stated that LEGO Batman: Legacy Of The Dark Knight is 15 Hours Long, with the story divided into Six Chapters / Eras making it the second longest LEGO Game (LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga comes in at 18.5 Hours Long per HowLongToBeat). The LEGO Group seemingly confirmed this with a reply to the original post which says the following: “An eras tour, if you will. 🧐”.
The 15 Hour Length likely doesn’t include completing all the side content which means a Completionist Run could double the playtime at the very least. Additionally, in September 2026 we have the Mayhem Collection which will include an all new Story Mission and Mayhem Mode which will definitely increase the overall length of the game.
