‘Among Us Story: On Guard’ Demo Available Now
Players can get their first experience of the upcoming demo through a limited time Steam Next Fest demo.
Following its reveal at the Summer Game Fest on June 5th, 2026, players can now download the demo for Among Us Story: On Guard, an upcoming narrative spinoff of the original game where you, the player, must playtest a training simulator that puts you in the boots of Guard who must investigate the murder of a fellow crewmate. Live life as a Crewmate in this dangerous narrative adventure through space. As Guard, you’re in charge of shipwide security and everything is fine. Until there’s a MURDER?! Prove your innocence before the Impostor gets to the rest of the crew… and you.
The demo which dropped on June 15th, 2026, not only celebrates the 8th anniversary of Among Us coming to mobile devices, it’s also part of the Steam Next Fest, a week-long event where players can try out a number of upcoming games before their full release. Players can download and play the Among Us Story: On Guard Demo until June 22nd, 2026 at 10:00 AM PT / 1:00 PM ET.
A full playthrough of the Among Us Story: On Guard Demo will lasts anywhere between 20 to 30 minutes, allowing players to familiarise themselves with the gameplay and its mechanics while not spoiling too much about the game’s full release.
Among Us Story: On Guard is developed by Innersloth. The game is coming soon to PC (via Steam). The Among Us Story: On Guard Demo is available on Steam until June 22nd, 2026 at 10:00 AM PT / 1:00 PM ET.
