California’s own Tyler, the Creator has just dropped a 90-second teaser branded “St. Chroma” advertising an upcoming project titled Chromakopia.
It seems rapper Tyler, the Creator is gearing up for a seventh studio album, this time titled Chromakopia. The news comes via a teaser video that features new music and predominantly greyscale footage.
In the footage, we see a group of men marching across a barren landscape while chanting “Chromakopia”. They soon enter a shipping container also branded with the name “Chromakopia” and a man on the exterior blows up the container, which also shifts the colour scheme from black and white to full spectrum.
The video description also brandishes a mysterious “8”. It is unknown whether this is part of an incomplete cypher or the number of days until we get more news on the upcoming Chromakopia project. The pseudo-music video also features vocals from Daniel Caesar.
