A24, the studio behind hits such as The Drama and Marty Supreme, has just released the first teaser trailer for Lance Oppenheim’s Primetime, which sees Robert Pattinson playing To Catch A Predator star Chris Hansen. Watch the full Primetime teaser trailer below.

The teaser is short, coming in at just over a minute long, sees Robert Pattinson change his voice to match the cadence and accent of Chris Hansen, the host of Dateline NBC’s To Catch A Predator, which changed the concept of vigilantism forever in the early 2000s.

The teaser is shown in the form of several interconnecting screens in a cutting room, where each screen sometimes links up to create a larger picture/video. We also see first looks at Skyler Gisondo’s character. You can watch the full teaser below:

Lance Oppenheim directs Primetime, marking his first foray into feature filmmaking. Oppenheim is primarily a documentarian, known for his work Spermworld and The Python Hunt, which are recognized as some of the more outlandish documentaries of the last few years.

A poster for the film was also released, seeing Pattinson’s Hansen standing in front of a blue television screen with the title of the film above him.

It marks the fourth film of the year for Robert Pattinson, who opened the year with A24’s The Drama alongside co-star Zendaya. He will next be seen in Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated adaptation of The Odyssey, where he will co-star alongside Matt Damon and Tom Holland, whilst he is set to close out the year with Denis Villeneuve’s epic final instalment of the Dune saga, Dune: Part Three, starring across from Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya.

Primetime is expected to be released in Fall 2026, but does not have a specific release date. More to come.
