'Evil Dead Burn' Receives First Full Trailer Writhing With Deadites

New Line Cinema has released the first full length trailer for Evil Dead Burn, the sixth entry into Sam Raimi’s canon of Evil Dead films.

Directed by Sébastien Vaniček, who broke out with 2023’s Vermines (Infested in English), the trailer reveals official confirmation of the plot, which will revolve around a family in mourning who uses the Necronomicon to attempt to resurrect a deceased family member, but soon are subjected to the evil Deadites, zombie like demons with a penchant for the dark, gruesome, and downright malicious. “After the loss of her husband, a woman seeks solace with her in-laws in their secluded family home, as one by one they are transformed into Deadites — turning the gathering into a family reunion from hell — she comes to discover that the vows she took in life… live on even in death.”

The trailer continues the tradition of brutal deaths, with just the trailer showing Deadites impaled by car seat headrests, Hunter Doohan’s character falling backwards onto a dishwasher filled with upward facing knives, a Deadite losing fingers in a slammed door, and a Deadite drinking burning hot candle wax without flinching.

The cast for the film consists of Souheila Yacoub (Dune: Part Two), Tandi Wright (Pearl), Hunter Doohan (Daredevil: Born Again), Luciane Buchanan (The Night Agent), Erroll Shand (Chief of War), Maude Davey, and George Pullar.

Evil Dead Burn releases in theatres July 10, 2026.
