‘Fortnite’ Announces Their First Community Day

On Friday, May 22nd the official Fortnite X (formerly Twitter) account announced the first ever “Fortnite Community Day” scheduled for Saturday, May 30th, 2026. Along with some free rewards up for grabs which we’ll discuss below.

At the time of writing, there are three rewards up for grabs with one being exclusive to owners of the Fortnite Chapter 7, Season 2 battlepass. See the rewards below:

Community ‘Brella – The Community ‘Brella Glider will be given out for free on every Community Day with a new style every year. This is also the first time where players can earn an all-back Umbrella Glider following the limited time “One Shot” Glider back in the 2019 John Wick collab.

Community ‘Brella Edit Style 1 – This year’s edit style is inspired by the Indigo Kuno Outfit which will be available in the shop between May 29th – May 31st.

Silver Surfer Wrap – Every player who logs into Fortnite on May 30th will be given this wrap for free, it’s currently unknown whether the rest of the Silver Surfer bundle which includes an Outfit, Backbling, Glider and Pickaxe will return to the Item Shop. If it does, the bundle costs 2000 V-Bucks (approximately $22.49 USD).

“Workplace Foundation” Edit Style – Owners of this season’s battlepass will receive this free edit style for the Foundation inspired by his design in the “Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2: Showdown – Official Live Action Trailer” by simply logging into Fortnite on Community Day.

This is only the beginning, as we’ll learn more about the first Fortnite Community Day on Monday, May 25th likely in the form of a blog post leading up to the event on May 30th.

Fortnite is developed by Epic Games and is available for free on PC, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices. Fortnite’s Community Day begins on May 30th, 2026.
