‘Marvel’s Wolverine’ x ‘MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls’ Cross-Collab Revealed

On July 23rd, 2026, the Marvel’s Wolverine team alongside the game’s very own Wolverine (Liam McIntyre) and Jean Grey (Krizia Bajos) took the Hall H Stage at San Diego Comic Con to do a deep dive on the upcoming game. During that approximately 45-minute long panel, fans learnt that an upcoming cross collab between Marvel’s Wolverine and MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls was officially in the works. Today we’ll tell you what’s available in the collaboration and when you can get your hands on it.

MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls’ Classic Yellow & Blue Suit In Marvel’s Wolverine

MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls’ take on the Classic Yellow and Blue suit featuring a cel-shaded art style will be heading to Marvel’s Wolverine on launch day and players can unlock it by progressing through the game.

Coincidentally, on July 28th, 2026, the Fighting Souls’ version of Spider-Man’s suit was added to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 alongside the “Fresh Start” suit inspired by the one worn in the now released Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Both suits are available for free upon botting up the game.

Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Reborn Suit In MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls

MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls’ also joins in on the fun by adding Marvel’s Wolverine’s Battle Reborn Suit to the game, this is the main outfit that Logan will wear in the Insomniac developed game. The Battle Reborn Suit will be available for free on September 1st, two weeks before Marvel’s Wolverine launches on PS5. September 1st also sees the debut of Year 1 DLC character, Phoenix Cyclops.

What Is Marvel’s Wolverine About?

 Marvel’s Wolverine follows the titular character as he rejoins his old team (Team X) to investigate the disappearance of mutants. Along the way, he’ll encounter Bolivar Trask and his cybernetically-enhanced army known as the Reavers. Read the official synopsis below:

“Marvel’s Wolverine is an action-packed adventure from Insomniac Games, the acclaimed studio behind the Marvel’s Spider-Man series. Created in collaboration with Marvel Games, it delivers an all-new original story based on the legendary comic book character.  

Logan thought he was finished being Wolverine, but the past wasn’t finished with him yet. Three years after walking out on his team, Wolverine rejoins the mutant task force, Team X, in their darkest hour.  

Driven by his fanatical belief in human superiority, Bolivar Trask is kidnapping mutants. Only Wolverine has what it takes to save them.   

In his fight for the future, Wolverine must team up with fellow mutants across the globe through locations like Canada, Japan, and the Marvel island nation of Madripoor. With the fate of humans and mutants hanging in the balance, Logan knows the world needs a hero; however, they’ll have to settle for Wolverine.”

The game launches exclusively on the PlayStation 5 family of systems on September 15th, 2026.
