Following a widely reported on set dispute between MobLand star Tom Hardy and the show’s producers, Tom Hardy is reportedly returning for the third season of the smash hit Paramount+ show.
There were many reported reasons as to the dispute, though it seems that none of that matters now as Hardy and the show’s production team recently met in London to hash out any issues, reports Variety. It seems to have worked as Tom Hardy is back attached to the third season, whilst the second season hasn’t even aired!
MobLand is the biggest non-Taylor Sheridan show at Paramount+, making it an obvious priority for the producers of the series to ensure has a clean and sure shot way to audience screens. Producers on MobLand include showrunner Jez Butterworth, David C. Glasser, Kris Thykier, Guy Ritchie, Ivan Atkinson, creator Ronan Bennett, Dean Baker, Anthony Byrne, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, as well as Hardy himself.
This news will come as soothing to many fans, as Hardy’s presence as fixer Harry de Souza makes MobLand as clean and sleek as it is. The series follows Harry as he fixes the many trials and tribulations of the Harrigan crime family (led by the charismatic Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren) in the UK. Read the show’s synopsis below:
