‘The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth’ Trailer Throws Brad Pitt Back Into Fincher’s Playbook

Directed by David Fincher from a script by Quentin Tarantino, The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth follows Brad Pitt again as Cliff Booth as he engages in treacherous tasks, performing all sorts of fun and charismatic characters. We last saw the former stuntman in Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood where he, in the service of Leonardo DiCaprio’s Rick Dalton, visited the residence of the Manson Family and killed some cult members to save Rick, and eventually Margot Robbie’s Sharon Tate (who was actually murdered by the cult in real life. In THE FURTHER MIS-ADVENTURES OF CLIFF BOOTH, directed by Fincher from a new script by Tarantino, the fairytale is over. Los Angeles no longer needs a hippie-slaying stuntman the way it did. But Hollywood will always have problems, problems that can only be solved by someone with Cliff’s unique (occasionally extralegal) abilities. When he’s not earning his keep bartending or as a projectionist, Cliff Booth is a fixer — solving situations for Hollywood’s great and the, sometimes, not so good.

Netflix TUDUM revealed in their coverage of the trailer that Cliff will be a fixer in the new film, beginning to work for Charlie Peters (Scott Caan) and talent agent Karen Crosby (Elizabeth Debicki), who is a TV star reknowned for doing his own stuntwork. Through him, he comes into contact with Charlie’s wife Toni (Carla Gugino) and Roderick “Hot Rod” Harrison (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II), a footballer turned actor. Meanwhile, the Verduscos, gangster brothers played by Matt Groove and JB Tadena, cause havoc in Hollywood.

Brad Pitt reprises his role in the trailer, marking the third piece of news he is involved in this week after the premiere of Heart of the Beast, his second wartime-themed collaboration with David Ayer, and the announcement of World War Z 2 after 13 years of development at Paramount Pictures. The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth is the fourth collaboration between director David Fincher following Se7en, Fight Club, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

The film stars Brad Pitt, Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, Carla Gugino, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Matt Groove, JB Tadena, Peter Weller, Corey Fogelmanis, Karren Karagulian, Holt McCallany, Timothy Olyphant, Barry Livingston, Lauren Glazier, and Emily Alyn Lind. It is due out in IMAX theatres starting November 26, 2026 and will be released on Netflix on December 23, 2026.
