‘Heart of the Beast’ Trailer Brings Brad Pitt Into The Alaskan Frontier
The Heart of the Beast trailer drops Brad Pitt into the heart of the beast, alongside his trusty onscreen dog Odin.
Brad Pitt is back doing survival thrillers with Heart of the Beast, his first since Fury and World War Z, this one reuniting him with David Ayer for the first time in twelve years. Now, the trailer for Heart of the Beast has been released, showing Brad Pitt as Special Forces officer James Belmont and his trusty dog Odin. Watch the Heart of the Beast trailer below:
The trailer sees Belmont and Odin trace back their journey together, from combat in the Special Forces to a harrowing plane crash in the Alaskan frontier where they are placed in dangerous situations, including a cliffhanger where they dynamic duo face off against a pack of wolves. JK Simmons also makes an appearance in the trailer.

The film is directed by David Ayer, who has steered away from giant studio blockbusters in recent years following the critical failure of Suicide Squad, with his recent filmography filled with films such as A Working Man, The Beekeeper, and The Tax Collector. He made it big in the film industry as the screenwriter for Training Day and The Fast and the Furious, both of which are now considered cult classics.
Auteur director Damien Chazelle, known for films such as Whiplash, La La Land, and Babylon, the latter of which starred Pitt, produces. Find the first poster for the film, which was released with the trailer, below:
Heart of the Beast stars Brad Pitt, JK Simmons, and Anna Lambe. The film is scheduled to be released by Paramount Pictures on September 25, 2026.
