‘Eyes of Wakanda’ Ending Explained: ‘Black Panther’ Connection Explained
Here’s everything you need to know about the Eyes of Wakanda ending and its ties to the Black Panther films.
The fourth episode of Eyes of Wakanda, “The Last Panther”, followed a dark future ahead for the nation as a result of Wakanda never partnering with the rest of the world. Today we’ll be talking about the ending of the series and its ties in the wider Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Eyes of Wakanda is the story of the Hatut Zaraze who later became the War Dogs, a group of spies tasked with retrieving Vibranium artifacts that pose a threat to both Wakanda and the outside world.
How Does ‘Eyes of Wakanda’ Episode 4 End?

The episode ends with Tafari (Zeke Alton) successfully putting the Wakandan Artifact back in its rightful place in Ethiopia thus correcting the course of the timeline. Upon their return to Wakanda, Tafari and Kuda (Steve Toussaint), Tafari explains to the council that the artifact was destroyed and would no longer pose a threat, after their meeting Tafari disregards his hopes of leaving a legacy (which was his goal at the start of the episode), instead favouring the idea that he saved the future and being proud of that without recognition. He begins wondering about the corrected future.
The episode ends with a shot of Erik Killmonger (in the likeness of live action actor Michael B. Jordan) in the Museum of Great Britain staring at that same Wakandan Artifact in its display moment during the events of Black Panther which will as the future Black Panther mentioned set off the events that would allow Wakanda to partner with the rest of the world starting with Killmonger teaming up with Klaue to retrieve the artifact from the museum. The future isn’t shown, but it’s safe to assume that Wakanda and the other nations of the world have vanquished The Horde.

Eyes of Wakanda is directed by Todd Harris, the series stars Winnie Harlow as Noni, Cress Williams as the Lion and more. All four episodes are now streaming on Disney+.
