Marvel Announces Next Disney+ Series ‘Zodiac’ For 2028 Release
Marvel has announced, Zodiac, a new MCU spy thriller at Disney+. Read about the Marvel Zodiac announcement.
With VisionQuest basically upon us, having already screened at London Film Festival, to critics, and now at New York Comic Con, Marvel Studios has announced their next series, Zodiac.
The news was revealed at New York Comic Con in the Marvel Television & Animation panel, where a logo was shown for the audiences.
Marvel’s Head of TV, Animation, Comics & Franchise, Brad Winderbaum, unveiled the series officially for the first time at the panel.
“It’s a spy thriller,” Winderbaum said. “And for anyone who knows the comics, if you look closely at this title design, you’ll see a few clues about where we’re going.”
“And no, I can’t tell you anything else about it yet because it’s a secret!” He continued, “We’re going to start casting it in a couple weeks.”

Zodiac exists as a team in Marvel comics, with each member based on Zodiac signs such as Taurus and Aries. That as it may be and in combination with the logo design, the project will seemingly touch on S.H.I.E.L.D, the defensive agency that protected the world against threats and initially formed the Avengers. That has since been disbanded in the MCU, and while fans are theorizing about Agents of SHIELD canonicity, only time will tell.
The series, which has not revealed its episode count, will begin production in Spring next year in order to make its 2028 release date.
