The second season of Peacemaker follows the 11th Street Kids navigating life after saving the world from Project Butterfly, with their newfound sense of heroics they hope to help the world any way they can. Christopher Smith in particular hopes to join a team of heroes but is quickly rejected, down on his luck he hits the jackpot when he comes across a parallel dimension of his dreams.

Peacemaker Season 2, Episode 5 features yet another joke post-credit scene. This time, we get an extended look at the car ride with Leota, Adrian and Chris after he’s freed from ARGUS.

Throughout the series Adrian Chase has been obsessed with talking about and being quizzed on animal facts. We previously had him ask John about Owl facts and later spider facts (after being rejected by Emilia and Leota). This post-credit scene is no different as Adrian begins to talk about Manta Ray facts.

The scene opens with Adrian saying, “You know, ‘manta ray’ is derived from the Latin for pancake of the sea. That’s where we get the phrase, “A manta ray never forgets.” He continues talking about manta ray facts “You know, when a manta ray is born, they come out in the shape of a burrito.” Leota sighs and Adrian asks if they can go to Taco Bell. 

An annoyed Chris asks “How many manta rays does it take for you to shut the fuck up?” Adrian begins counting and Chris asks “Is it four, five”, Leota says “let him count” and he continues. Chris continues “Is it a murder of manta rays? Are they even called a murder?” Adrian corrects him, “No, it’s a school.” Leota says “Someone shoot me in the ass.” Adrian asks about what she said and she pushes her hand in his face.

Peacemaker Season 2 is created by James Gunn and stars John Cena as Christoper Smith / Peacemaker, Freddie Stroma as Adrian Chase / Vigilante, Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr and more. The first five episodes are now streaming on HBO Max. The sixth episode premieres on September 25th at 6:00 PM PT / 9:00 PM ET.
