Released as part of a sizzle reel advertising Disney+’s 2025 slate, which was placed in front of Deadpool & Wolverine, we finally have a new look at Alien: Earth. It’s our first look at the series since the theatrically released teaser placed in front of Alien: Romulus back in August.

The compilation of glimpses is only seven seconds long, but there’s a lot to unpack from it. An initial voiceover states “This ship collected specimens from a faraway moon,” over footage of sweeping landscapes, the interior of a space ship and several people emerging from the water as they walk towards a half-submerged cave. It can reasonably be deduced that the specimens referenced in the narration are xenomorphs or related alien specimens. It is unknown what ship the line is referring to, but fans are already theorising it could possibly be referring to The Covenant, as seen in Alien Covenant and Prometheus.

Next, a clip of Sydney Chandler’s character turns and faces the camera, sparks flying in the background. The snippet is followed by another, this time of a wide shot depicting the Earth. The Xenomorph from the cinema teaser screams, before cutting to a shot of our hero in pain. One final line rings through the teaser… “Monsters.”

While there wasn’t too much to unpack here, it marks the beginning of marketing for the series, which is scheduled for an early 2025 release. You can watch the promo below:
