‘The Mandalorian & Grogu’ Trailer Description
The trailer kicked off with a group of Stormtroopers aboard a ship. They’re getting ready for an attack but are thwarted by a foe- Din Djarin, our titular Mandalorian, played by Pedro Pascal. The fight sequence is filmed in one take, with Mando using his blasters to take down his enemies swiftly and effectively, drawing inevitable comparisons to the action in Chad Stahelski’s John Wick franchise.
Outside, the AT-AT Walker explodes, and Mando flies away holding a still infant Grogu. In the next shot, another AT-AT collapses, rolling off a cliff-face and exploding. We then see Din and Grogu reporting to Sigourney Weaver’s character, who seems to be a rebel pilot. She’s sat across from them in a dining style table, and Grogu uses the force to drag an object towards the table, eliciting laughter from the audience. Weaver’s character stops it and drags it back towards her.
In another shot, the Razor-Crest flies above with Grogu inside. It then cuts back to Weaver who states :“You work for us.” Following this, a shot of Din, Grogu, and Zeb Orellios. A shot of Din investigating an abandoned building, a ruined droid and Din in a cafeteria also follow, using quick editing to portray the scope of the Star Wars movie.
Din kicks someone across a bar, and Grogu learns how to swim, perhaps escaping something. Pedro Pascal’s voice can be heard saying “I am Din Djarin,” and the titular duo engage in combat with more AT-AT Walkers. Something drives down a corridor before Grogu jumps out and levitates it, breaking it. The title treatment for the film plays, complete with a new logo followed by an ending stinger: A scene of Rotta The Hutt, as voiced by Jeremy Allen White, in a gladiator arena with Din and Grogu watching from the crowd.

The Mandalorian & Grogu was directed by Jon Favreau and stars Pedro Pascal, Sigourney Weaver, and Jeremy Allen White. The film hits theatres May 22, 2026, courtesy of Lucasfilm and Walt Disney Studios.
