‘Fortnite’: June To Feature Four Different Passes
June 2025 is an exciting month for Fortnite players as the game will feature four different passes to progress through from June 17th.
During the Big Bang live event on December 2nd, 2023, fans were introduced to the future of Fortnite as Epic Games teased their upcoming game modes, Fortnite Festival, LEGO Fortnite, and Rocket Racing. By December 9th, all three of these game modes would become permanent additions to the game. On December 5th, 2024, we’d also be introduced to the Fortnite: OG game mode. Three of these game modes, Fortnite Festival, LEGO Fortnite, and Fortnite: OG, would all receive individual passes, all offering even more rewards for players to earn. Adding those to the Fortnite: Battle Royale pass which makes for a total of four different passes that players have access to.
Using the “Passes” tab in Fortnite, we can see that the Battle Pass, OG Pass and LEGO Pass all end on June 7th, followed by the Music Pass on June 17th. This means that by June 17th, there will be four passes that players can progress through, and thanks to the pass update on December 1st, 2024, players are able to complete these passes by leveling up in any game mode of their choosing. Four different passes also means that players can earn up to 13 skins (or 14 if rumors of Daft Punk being the icon of Fortnite Festival Season 8 are true).
When Will Each Pass Begin?

The Chapter 6, Season 3 Battle Pass, Chapter 1, Season 4 OG Pass, and Season 6 LEGO Pass are all set to begin on June 7th, 2025. The Season 9 Music Pass will begin on June 17th. Each pass will last for approximately 12 weeks, with Fortnite OG lasting about 8 weeks.
This makes a great opportunity to subscribe to Fortnite Crew, for $11.99 USD/month, you’ll have access to all four of these upcoming passes until your subscription ends. We highly recommend you subscribe from June 17th or later as it’s a great deal.
While we will dive more into leveling up in our upcoming Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 3 level-up guide. We recommend saving all your quests from each game mode (Rocket Racing, OG, Battle Royale, Festival, LEGO) until June 17th to make the most out of your leveling.
What If I Don’t Finish The Passes?

While pass exclusivity was never a factor in the Music, OG, and LEGO passes, as of Chapter 5, Season 4 the battle pass exclusivity was removed, meaning that after 18 months, you’ll be able to purchase any skins that were in the pass.
While it hasn’t been 18 months since the launch of Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 4, we suspect that any returning skins will be sold individually as bundles, averaging around 2000 V-Bucks, with superstyles likely unavailable.

Fortnite is developed by Epic Games and is available for free on all platforms.
