‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 2 Teaser: A Familiar Duo Reunites

By the end of Daredevil: Born Again Season 1, Wilson Fisk managed to become the Mayor of New York which lead to a number of new initiatives including the formation of a Anti Vigilante Task Force (AVTF) and the “Red Hook Port Revitalisation Project” which would later be revealed as a prison to house the Vigilantes taken in by the AVTF including The Punisher (who later managed to escape). These changes have encouraged Matt Murdock to fight back, forming his own team to take down Fisk and the AVTF once and for all.

As we enter the new year, the countdown has begun for the second season of Daredevil: Born Again which was announced by Kevin Feige in August 2024 following the creative overhaul. Marvel Head of Television, Animation and Streaming, Brad Winderbaum previously stated that the series would be released annually (X-Men ‘97 and Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man are also planned to follow the annual release schedule). Back in September during an interview with IGN, A third season was greenlit and set for a March 2027 premiere, filming also begins in March 2026. 

On January 27th, ahead of the premiere of Marvel Television’s Wonder Man on Disney+, we got a teaser trailer for the second season of Daredevil: Born Again which is set for a March 24th, 2026 release. You can view the trailer below:

What Happens In The Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Trailer?

The trailer, which is 1 minute and 18 seconds long, opens with a record player which plays Childish Gambino’s “Lithonia”. Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) and Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) smile at each other. Following a wide shot of Hell’s Kitchen, we see Benjamin Pointdexter (Wilson Bethel) enter a diner where he orders a milkshake, followed by shots where civilians and members of the Anti-Vigilante Task Force seem to be getting along well. Karen and Matt are dancing, and we briefly cut to a scene with Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) and Vanessa Fisk (Ayelet Zurer) before a high-pitched sound hurts Matt.

In a recording, we see someone wearing a Wilson Fisk costume with the sign “Mayor Kingpin” in front of them. Fisk laughs and then we see the AVTF shooting at someone, a brief shot of Mister Charles (Matthew Lillard) is seen followed by someone hanging up a missing poster for Matt Murdock. We see Matt hurt in a church, then emerges Jessica Jones (Kristen Ritter) who says “I hope you can walk, because I’m not carrying you.” Matt throws his billy club at an AVTF member, we see a bloodied Benjamin smile followed by Matt (now in his black suit) helping someone up in the church from earlier. Matt and Karen are then seen marching down an old building.

Some people are seen rushing towards a house with guns, Fisk then touches Daniel (Michael Gandolfini) on his shoulder. Jessica hits an AVTF member with a metal door, we then see Daniel and Buck (Arty Froushan) looking at something in the trunk of a car, Buck asks Daniel “Saw.. or shovel?” The following shot shows the Red Hook Pier which acts as a front for a Vigilante Prison seemingly being blown up. Fisk is seen participating in a boxing match followed by a shot of Benjamin and the inside of the Red Hook Pier prison. Heather Glen (Margarita Levieva) is seen interrogating someone, she recently sided with Fisk by the end of the first season.

A crowd is seemingly protesting in front of a memorial, AVTF members are seen holding them off. We see another shot of the AVTF getting along with civilians, Karen and Matt training together and a brief shot of Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson), he appears clean shaven which could indicate this is a flashback. Matt fights some AVTF members in Josie’s bar and they later discover his hideout. He smiles and we see the logo for Daredevil: Born Again, the red text in “Daredevil” all turning to Black starting with the letter D.

While a full synopsis is yet to be revealed, the trailer description gives us the following tagline:

“Time to dance with the Devil.”

Daredevil: Born Again stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock / Daredevil, Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk / Kingpin, Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page and more. The second season premieres on Disney+ on March 24th, 2026.
