With the release of Alien: Romulus comes the release of the ninth live-action Alien project, but a tenth project is currently in development. An Alien series has been in development for years, with Fargo creator Noah Hawley wrapping a tenuous production in July 2024.

The series will reportedly follow a woman (Sydney Chandler) who has the consciousness of a child as she traverses the dangerous world of Alien, 30 years before the original 1979 film. While Romulus was more concerned with the mythology of Prometheus and Covenant, Earth will be more concerned with the lore of the first film.

Where Can I Watch The Teaser For Alien: Earth?

The first teaser for Alien: Earth is screening in select showings of Alien: Romulus throughout the US.

The teaser opens with a black screen, with planet Earth itself in the middle of the screen. The camera pans out and it is revealed the camera is not pointed just at Earth, but it is being reflected on the shell of a Xenomorph. The Xenomorph snarls and jumps towards the audience before the title card flashes onto the screen: “Alien: Earth Only On Hulu”

The series is produced by FX and will be released in the first half of 2025 on Hulu. Alien: Romulus is currently in theatres worldwide and stars Cailee Spaeny, David Jonsson, and Isabela Merced.
