‘Blade Runner 2099’ Trailer Showcases Latest Return To A World Of Remnants
Return to a futuristic Los Angeles in the first official trailer for Blade Runner 2099, starring Hunter Schafer and Michelle Yeoh.
Despite the poor reception of Blade Runner and the bad box office performance of Blade Runner 2049, it is without a doubt that Blade Runner remains one of the most popular sci-fi franchises to this day and with Blade Runner 2099 officially nearing release, it’s sure to garner the attention of a lot of movie buffs.
Now, the first trailer for Blade Runner 2099 has been released and it showcases a return to the world of the films, with new stars Michelle Yeoh and Hunter Schafer taking over from Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford. Watch the Blade Runner 2099 trailer below:
The trailer sees a world set 50 years after Blade Runner 2049, one in which there was a successful replicant uprising, leaving humans powerless. Read the synopsis:
In Los Angeles 2099, Cora has lived her entire life on the run, a chameleon forced to adopt numerous identities. To secure a stable future for her brother, she assumes one final identity and is forced to partner with Olwen, a Blade Runner who’s confronting the end of her life.

Blade Runner 2099 will be released on November 25 on Prime Video and stars Michelle Yeoh as Olwen, Hunter Schafer as Cora, Dimitri Abold, Lewis Gribben, Katelyn Rose Downey, Daniel Rigby, Johnny Harris, Amy Lennox, Sheila Atim, Matthew Needham, Tom Burke, and Maurizio Lombardi.
