HBO’s ‘Harry Potter’ Reboot Debuts New Trailer; First Look At Quirrell

HBO has released the second Harry Potter trailer as promised and now audiences have more extensive looks at classes at Hogwarts, trolls, teachers, magic mirrors and more. Watch the full trailer below:

The trailer sees better looks at magic classes at Hogwarts, including the likes of Potions (with Professor Snape) and Transfiguration (with Professor McGonagall). We also get looks at the scene involving Fluffy, Hagrid’s three headed guard dog, though the pooch remains unseen, and looks at the troll that was let into the school. Further, we also got our first look at Luke Thallon as Professor Quirrel, who is set to be the antagonist of the first season.

The series follows a young orphan who is invited to attend a magical school where he learns his true heritage, makes magical friends, and fights the forces of evil. Read the Season 1 synopsis below:

It begins airing on HBO on Christmas 2026.
