‘Marvel’s Wolverine’ Exclusive Suits Shown Off in the Digital Deluxe Trailer
Here’s what you can expect when you purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition of Marvel’s Wolverine.
Following the Marvel’s Wolverine PlayStation Accessories going on pre-order earlier this week, Insomniac Games has just dropped a new promo giving us a highlight of what the Digital Deluxe Edition has in store. In addition to 3 Technique Points which can be used to get a headstart on upgrading your skills in the game, there will also be 5 exclusive suits in Marvel’s Wolverine which you can see in the promo below:
The 31-second promo where Wolverine (Liam McIntyre) is seen wearing the Original Yellow and Blue suit worn in Incredible Hulk #180 set the burning forest where he readies his claws. The next scene shows a motorcycle chase scene where Logan is trying to escape some Hand Ninjas, he’s seen wearing the suit shown in New X-Men #114 / the live-action X-Men films, the promo confirms that it’s called the New Leather Suit. Next up is the Age of Apocalypse suit worn in X-Men Alpha #1 (and seen in the Deadpool & Wolverine film) as Wolverine faces off against Lady Deathstryke near a warehouse. Surrounded by Reavers in a snowy forest, Logan debuts his Savage Suit which is an original design by Adam Kubert for the game. Finally we see the Night Hunt suit which is also an original design done by Iban Coello, Wolverine dons it as he faces off against Reavers in a Trask building. We get confirmation that the Original Yellow and Blue suit will be known as the Incredible Suit in the game (as a reference to the Hulk) and a brief snippet of Logan facing off against what appears to be a smaller-scaled version of a sentinel. The promo ends with a shot of all five suits s: Age of Apocalypse, Savage, New Leather, Night Hunt and Incredible with the caption, “Five Iconic Suits.”
What Is Marvel’s Wolverine About?
Marvel’s Wolverine follows the titular character as he rejoins his old team (Team X) to investigate the disappearance of mutants. Along the way, he’ll encounter Bolivar Trask and his cybernetically-enhanced army known as the Reavers. Read the official synopsis below:
“Marvel’s Wolverine is an action-packed adventure from Insomniac Games, the acclaimed studio behind the Marvel’s Spider-Man series. Created in collaboration with Marvel Games, it delivers an all-new original story based on the legendary comic book character.
Logan thought he was finished being Wolverine, but the past wasn’t finished with him yet. Three years after walking out on his team, Wolverine rejoins the mutant task force, Team X, in their darkest hour.
