‘VisionQuest’ Trailer: All In His Head?

In two months, it’s the beginning of the end for the WandaVision trilogy which started all the way back in January 2021. During the Disney Entertainment Showcase at D23, attendees were able to witness the first trailer for VisionQuest and those at home didn’t miss out on the fun either as the trailer was immediately dropped online. The trailer which lasts for 2 minutes and 4 seconds opens with Vision in human form in a bar as he speaks about his past life as Vision. We then get a glimpse of the White Vision body as we enter its mind. It’s a digital space consisted of Vision’s life including movie posters of him and movie screenings as human Vision watches.

We then find ourselves in a home filled with other human forms of AI characters in the MCU. Among them is James Spader’s Ultron in Ultron form as Vision tells him “human avatars” only. He then turns into his human form. We get a glimpse of his life in the digital world as he struggles with his past in Wanda’s hex. It’s then revealed that one of his kids is alive. We see glimpses of the real world as it seems Ultron has invaded Vision’s mind. We see some action with Vision in both human and AI form.

What Is VisionQuest About?

After Hex Vision (Paul Bettany) restores the memories of his real world counterpart during the events of WandaVision, Vision (Paul Bettany) is on a journey to understand these new memories and regain his humanity. Read the official synopsis below:
