Every ‘Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game’ Character at Launch

Here’s what you need to know about the Avatar Legends roster, their support characters and which series they originate from.

With only a few weeks left until the release of Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game (and even less than that for the Closed Beta) on Steam, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, it’s time we take a look at every character joining the roster at launch. Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game will have a panel at EVO 2026 on June 26th, 2026 at 7:00 PM PT / 10:00 PM ET, it’s possible we’ll have the reveal of Fighters 11 and 12 at the event.

In addition to the characters above, over the course of the first year of Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game, five characters will be added via the Year 1 Pass. The Year 1 Pass is included in the Deluxe Edition of the game ($49.99 USD) and those who pre-order any version of the game will be able to vote on a character to be included in the pass.

Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game is a hand-drawn, 1v1 fighting game that pits various characters from across the Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend Of Korra series against each other. The game features a variety of game modes, including Offline & Online Versus, Story, Arcade, Training, Spectator and an Art Gallery that celebrates the history of the series. Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game is a fighter rooted in the spirit of elemental mastery. Designed for both newcomers and veterans, it channels the energy of classic fighting games while breaking new ground in movement, style, and combat expression. Built with a focus on fluidity, responsiveness, and online integrity, the game invites players to discover what it truly means to fight with purpose. Hand-drawn in 2D, it is crafted to preserve the style and expressive animation of the original series.

Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game is developed by Gameplay Group International. The game launches on PC (via Steam), Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 on July 23rd, 2026, for $29.99 USD or $49.99 USD for the Deluxe Edition (regional pricing applies). Nintendo Switch 1 & 2 versions will be made available at a later date.
