'The Batman Part II' Begins Filming In Liverpool

The highly anticipated sequel to 2022’s The Batman, The Batman Part II has begun production in Liverpool, England.

Production wasn’t expected to begin until the end of the month, but scenes involving a stunt double for Robert Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne, a snow covered Gotham City Police Department vehicle, and first looks at new logos for the film have emerged.

Filming is currently underway at Birkenhead Tunnel, where fans are theorizing a Batcave sequence is being shot.

Cameras have been spotted on the set boasting the Part II logo, which features the Bat symbol and text saying “Part II”.

In addition to this, Rick English, Robert’s stunt double was spotted on set in gear ready to film scenes, and this evening the film will shoot scenes at the tunnel.

The first film, as well as DC Studios’ Clayface were also shot in Liverpool making the city one of the most sought after places for DC productions.

The Batman Part II is directed by Matt Reeves and stars Robert Pattinson, Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Colin Farrell, Jeffrey Wright, Charles Dance, Brian Tyree Henry, Barry Keoghan, Andy Serkis, Sebastian Koch, and many more.
