‘Vought Rising’ Trailer Shown In Theatrical ‘The Boys’ Finale Showings
Fucking Diabolical… The first trailer for Vought Rising was exclusively shown to theatrical audiences yesterday as part of the release for The Boys series finale.
The Boys may now be over, following an impressive five season run across seven years, but extended universe of the show is still thriving. Gen V released its second season last year, and The Boys Diabolical debuted back in 2022, now we are gearing up for the release of the next show… Vought Rising. In showings of the finale for The Boys, the trailer was played in previews of the Prime Video event giving us our first look at the show beyond concept art.
The trailer shows audiences first looks at Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy, reprising his role from The Boys Season 3, Season 5 and Gen V Season 1. Elizabeth Posey can also be seen playing her role of Private Angel. The trailer ends with Aya Cash reprising her role as Stormfront, the villainess of The Boys Season 2.
It was previously revealed by showrunner Eric Kripke that Ethan Slater would also reprise his role as Thomas Goldolkin in the series, making him the fourth character reprising his role from other shows in the universe, following Soldier Boy, Stormfront, and Mason Dye as Bombsight.
The trailer is not expected to be released online anytime soon, due to the series being released next year on Prime Video.
