‘Fortnite’ X ‘Hoppers’ Set Available Now
The collab with Pixar’s latest film is now live, we discuss pricing and how long the outfit will be in the shop.
Hoppers is Pixar’s latest film, which is now in theatres and items related to the film are now available in Fortnite. Hoppers follows Mabel (Piper Curda), a teenager who becomes a beta tester for the Hoppers Project, an experiment that puts the human mind into a robotic version of an animal, allowing them to blend in and experience the animal kingdom firsthand. “Animal-lover Mabel seizes an opportunity to use a new technology to “hop” her consciousness into a lifelike robotic beaver and communicate directly with animals. As she uncovers mysteries in the animal world beyond anything she could have imagined, Mabel must rally the entire animal kingdom to face a major imminent human threat.”
Earlier this week, the official Fortnite pages posted a video featuring Tom Lizard from the upcoming film. In the short promo, we see Tom using a text-to-speech app on a smartphone, each time he touches the screen the phone responds, “Fortnite,” which he does four times. We get a closeup of Tom, his eyeballs move to the side, and he begins tapping again. This time the phone responds “Thursday”, he begins to spam the word until the Fortnite logo appears. We then shift to the Hoppers logo, with the caption “In Theatres Friday, Tickets Available Now”; a few seconds later, Tom crashes into the camera.
It was unclear whether Tom Lizard would be an outfit or sidekick and what the Hoppers collab would entail until the launch of the “This Week In The Item Shop” promo video, which confirmed that Tom Lizard would be an outfit and include an emote where he taps the screen to display a Lizard Emoji. The promo also included some of the outfits and sidekicks included in Wave 3 of the Rick & Morty collab.
Finally after last night’s Item Shop reset, the Hoppers Bundle arrived in the item shop and we’ll discuss pricing and how long the items are available for.
Hoppers Bundle Pricing And What’s Included
The Fortnite x Hoppers Bundle consists of the “Tom Lizard” outfit, “Mabel Plushie” back bling, “Text-to-Speech Swatter” pickaxe, and “Lizard!” emote. Check out the price of the bundle and each item individually below:

Hoppers is directed by Daniel Chong and stars Piper Curda as Mabel Tanaka, Bobby Moynihan as King George, Kathy Najimy as Dr. Samantha “Sam” Fairfax, Eduardo Franco as Loaf and more. The film is available now in theatres.
Fortnite is developed by Epic Games and is available for free on PC, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices. The Hoppers Bundle is available in the Item Shop until March 12th at 8:00 PM (GMT-04:00).
