Now, heading into 2026, the company is set to have one of its biggest post pandemic years, with projects from Marvel Studios, Marvel Television, Sony Pictures, and even Prime Video set to be released. Here is a comprehensive list of every Marvel project releasing in 2026.
Projects are ordered by release date, with the undated projects sorted by studio.
Marvel Animation’s ‘Spidey and His Amazing Friends’ Season 4 – January 2nd on Disney Jr and Disney+

Marvel’s current longest running series is Spidey and His Amazing Friends, which is set to continue airing its fourth season well into 2026. The show features young versions of Spider-Man, Miles Morales, Ms. Marvel, Gwen Stacy, Black Panther, and the Hulk.
Spidey and His Amazing Friends continues its fourth season on January 2nd on Disney+ and Disney Jr.
Marvel Television’s ‘Wonder Man’ – January 27th on Disney+

Wonder Man is the latest Disney+ series produced by Marvel Television and stars Yahya Abdul Mateen II as the titular character. The show follows Simon (Abdul Mateen II) as he journeys to become a blockbuster star, joined by Trevor Slattery, with Ben Kingsley reprising his role from Iron Man 3 and Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. The series is created by Destin Daniel Cretton and Andrew Guest.
The series debuts on Disney+ on January 27th, with all eight episodes of the series releasing at once.
Marvel Animation’s ‘Iron Man and His Awesome Friends’ – January 30th on Disney Jr and Disney+

One of Marvel Animation’s more continuous series’, Iron Man and his Awesome Friends is an ongoing series that released in 2025, and continually releases episodes. It is a spin-off of Spidey and his Amazing Friends.

Marvel Television’s ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 2 – March 4th on Disney+

Returning for a second season, Daredevil: Born Again is nearly back after a year long wait. Starring Charlie Cox as Daredevil in his fifth season of solo outings, the show also stars Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk, Wilson Bethel as Bullseye, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Matthew Lillard as Mr. Charles, and many more. Season 2 will see the return of Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, who returns from the Netflix Marvel era, having starred in her own three season show Jessica Jones, as well as Marvel’s The Defenders. The series is showrun by Dario Scardapane.

Marvel Studios/Sony Pictures ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ – July 31st in Theatres

After a four year hiatus, Spider-Man (Tom Holland) is back with another live-action solo film. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the film just had its first teaser leak, showcasing characters such as Scorpion (Michael Mando), Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), and The Punisher (Jon Bernthal).

Marvel Animation’s ‘X-Men ’97’ Season 2 – Summer on Disney+

Following the departure of Beau DeMayo as showrunner, it’s taken X-Men ’97 Season 2 a little long to come out, but now Marvel Animation has dated the series for a Summer 2026 release. The season will pick up where we left off at the end of Season 1, this time with Matthew Chauncey (What If…?) showrunning.

Marvel Studios’ Untitled The Punisher Special Presentation – Mid-2026 on Disney+

Reinaldo Marcus Green reteams with Jon Bernthal to bring another The Punisher project to life with his own Special Presentation. It’s the first solo project for the vigilante since his Netflix series, The Punisher, which lasted two seasons. The series will also see the return of Jason R. Moore as Curtis Hoyle, who also returns from the Netflix series.
The Marvel Studios Special Presentation is expected to be released in mid-2026 on Disney+.
Marvel Animation’s ‘Marvel’s Spidey and Iron Man: Avengers Team Up!’ Halloween Special – October on Disney Jr and Disney+

A crossover special between Spidey and His Amazing Friends and Iron Man and His Awesome Friends is set to be released in October 2026. It is the second special in the Marvel’s Spidey and Iron Man: Avengers Team Up! line, and continues Disney Jr’s dominance for toddler based Marvel series.

Marvel Animation’s ‘Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man’ Season 2 – Fall on Disney+

A sequel to the smash hit 2025 series, Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2 will see the debut of Gwen Stacy and Venom in the series. Other MCU staples are likely to appear, similar to how Doctor Strange appeared in the first season.

Insomniac Games’ ‘Marvel’s Wolverine’ – Fall on PlayStation 5

A follow-up to Insomniac’s successful Marvel’s Spider-Man trilogy, Marvel’s Wolverine will follow Logan, the man with adamantium grafted to his skeleton, with retractable claws. Mystique and Omega Red will also feature in the game, as exposed by a 2023 leak.

Marvel Studios’ ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ – December 18th in Theatres

Bound to be the biggest Marvel project of the year, Avengers: Doomsday is the first Avengers film in seven years, and brings back Chris Evans as Steve Rogers and introduced franchise star Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom. The film will also signal the beginning of the end of Phase Six and in turn the Multiverse Saga, before ultimately concluding in Secret Wars.

Marvel Television’s ‘VisionQuest’ – 2026 on Disney+

The third series in the so called WandaVision trilogy, VisionQuest will follow White Vision (Paul Bettany) after the events of Westview. The series will see the return of Ultron (James Spader) as well as other popular MCU artificial intelligences such as F.R.I.D.A.Y (Kerry Condon). Terry Matalas serves as showrunner.

Marvel Animation’s ‘Spidey and His Amazing Friends’ Season 5 – 2026 on Disney Jr and Disney+

Marvel Animation’s Spidey and His Amazing Friends is the only Marvel project releasing in 2026 to air two different seasons in the same calendar year, with Season 4 airing through January, and Season 5 likely beginning to air in mid-2026. Between these two seasons, Iron Man and His Awesome Friends, and their crossover Halloween special, fans of this universe are sure to be fed.

Sony Pictures Television’s ‘Spider-Noir’ – 2026 on Prime Video

Produced by Spider-Verse’s Lord & Miller, Spider-Noir follows Ben Reilly, as played by Nicolas Cage, in a 1930s set New York, as he chases a noir mystery. The series is the only Prime Video series on this list, and will mark the third project Spider-Noir has appeared in following the Spider-Verse duology.
Spider-Noir is confirmed to be released in 2026 on Prime Video.
Skydance New Media’s ‘Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra’ – 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S

The first ever Black Panther / Captain America solo game, Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra is currently deep in development. Per Marvel, the game will have four central characters: “a young Steve Rogers, AKA Captain America; Azzuri, T’Challa’s grandfather and the WWII-era Black Panther; Gabriel Jones, a U.S. soldier and member of the Howling Commandos; and Nanali, a Wakandan spy embedded in Occupied Paris.”
Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra is slated for a 2026 release.
‘Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls’ – 2026 on PC and PlayStation 5

Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls is a new fighting game developed by Arc System Works. Featuring Marvel characters, the game is Marvel’s answer to MultiVersus. Playable characters so far include: Captain America, Doctor Doom, Ghost Rider, Iron Man, Ms. Marvel, Spider-Man, Star-Lord, and Storm.
Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls is coming to PC and PlayStation in 2026.
‘Stuntnuts: The Movie’ & ‘Stuntnuts Does School Fight’ – 2026 In Theatres, Festival Circuit

This one is an interesting case. Stuntnuts is a spin-off to the Kickass franchise. The Kickass franchise is based on Marvel Comic’s Icon Comics imprint, meaning that by connection these are technically Marvel films. Two films have been filmed so far, with both completed. The films originally were meant to debut at either the 2024 or 2025 Sundance Film Festivals but did not make the festivals. Chris Hemsworth and Sam Rockwell star in the first film as themselves.
No release date has been revealed for either Stuntnuts film but due to both being completed, it is likely. they release in 2026.
