‘Marvel Rivals’ Home Background And New Game Mode Teased

Creative Director, Guangguang has returned for the tenth edition of the Dev Vision all about Season 4.5 of Marvel Rivals. Throughout Seasons 0 to 4, Marvel Rivals has featured some beautiful artwork for the game’s title screen and home menu, now in Season 4.5 players will be able to customize their home background to their favorite animation from any of the seasons.

To do so, players will select their profile from the top right of the screen and locate the “Customize” section. From there players select the “Home Background” section and are given a list of every background available from Seasons 0 to 4. Before equipping any of these backgrounds players will be able to preview them on the Home Menu, Log in Menu and the Transition. Additionally players will be able to download these backgrounds and use them as wallpapers. 

Guangguang also teased a new game mode coming to the game, while he didn’t specify whether its a main mode or a new addition to the arcade, we’ll learn more about it at the Thailand Game Show on October 17th, a week after the launch of Season 4.5.

Marvel Rivals is developed by NetEase Games in collaboration with Marvel Games. The game is available for free on PC, PlayStation 4 / 5 and the Xbox Series consoles. Customizable Home Backgrounds debut in Season 4.5 on October 10th at 2:00 PM PT / 5:00 PM ET
