What Happens In The Trailer?

The trailer opens with a shot of the duo’s home, a glitching effect distorts the video until we see a clear shot of the home covered in dust as if abandoned for years. We go to Gumball and Darwin’s room, the alarm goes off and Gumball wakes up covered in dust. He asks “What the what is going on?”. He turns to Darwin, who also wakes up covered in kelp. He shakes it off and turns off the alarm. He says “aww dude, we’re late for school”. Gumball sneezes and all the dust blows away from the neighborhood.
Gumball asks Darwin “how late?” Darwin looks at the clock, gasps and says “Almost seven years”. The two gasp, which Gumball then turns into a yawn, he says, “five more minutes then” and the two go back to sleep. We see the original The Amazing World of Gumball logo followed by its iconic theme, the logo then shifts to the new The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball logo.

With even wilder stories, bigger twists, and surreal humor, they had to rename it: The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball.
