What Happens At The End Of Wonder Man Episode 2?

On the last episode of Wonder Man things weren’t going well for Simon as he got fired from American Horror Story and his girlfriend moved out. However, that all changed when he heard about a Wonder Man Remake directed by Von Kovak, Simon managed to get himself an audition and meet Trevor Slattery in the process but what Simon doesn’t know is Trevor’s intentions are not what he thinks.
The second episode titled “Self Tape,” opens with a flashback to Trevor describing to the person sitting next to him how he became an actor. In the airport, Trevor is detained by a number of FBI Agents and we get flashbacks to Iron Man 3, where Trevor posed as the Mandarin. While being interrogated by Agent Cleary, Trevor is told about Simon Williams and assigned to befriend him. Back to Present Day, Janelle finds out that Simon got himself an audition and implies that he did well. Simon is then tasked with recording a self-tape for an indie film, while looking back at old tapes he sees Vivian and gets stressed out causing a massive explosion in his apartment. While meeting with Cleary, Trevor is tasked with accessing files from Simon’s laptop using a smart ring. He gets a text from Simon asking for help with the self-tape, giving him that opportunity. Throughout the episode the duo have trouble filming as something always goes wrong eventually returning to Simon’s apartment.
At the end of the episode, they successfully film the self-tape, and Trevor manages to place the ring on laptop giving the DODC access to all his files. Trevor snoops around the apartment and stumbles across the aftermath of the explosion, scared, he plays it cool as if it didn’t happen but he now knows that what Agent Cleary has warned him about Simon might be true.

Wonder Man is created by Destin Daniel Cretton and Andrew Guest. The series stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Simon Williams / Wonder Man, Ben Kingsley as Trevor Slattery, Zlatko Burić as Von Kovak and more. All eight episodes are now streaming on Disney+.
