‘Wolf Man’ Teaser Trailer: Leigh Whannell Transforms Another Universal Horror Classic
After the success of 2020’s The Invisible Man, director Leigh Whannell has been given a new monster classic, The Wolf Man.
After the commercial and critical success of 2020’s The Invisible Man, director Leigh Whannell was given the keys to yet another Universal monster classic. This time, a remake of the 1941 film The Wolf Man.
We now have our first teaser for this new take which stars Christopher Abbott, Julia Garner, Sam Jaeger, and Matilda Firth. Watch the trailer here:
The current synopsis of the film is as follows: “A man seeks to protect himself and his family from a dangerous werewolf at night during a full moon.”
We don’t get a good look at the titular Wolf Man in this trailer, however, guests at Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios have gotten up close with a theme park mascot of the design this week.
Along with the teaser, we also got our first poster for the film.
Wolf Man is directed by Leigh Whannell and stars Christopher Abbott, Julia Garner, Sam Jaeger, and Matilda Firth. The film hits theaters on January 17th, 2025, courtesy of Blumhouse.
