‘Thunderbolts*’ Reported Ticket Sale Date (Exclusive)
As the release of Thunderbolts* gets closer, we can now reveal a reported date for when tickets for the movie are expected to drop.
One of the most anticipated movies of the year is almost here. Jake Schreier takes the MCU in a new direction with Thunderbolts*, a formation of depressed side-heroes that join together to save the world from one of its biggest threats yet. After finding themselves ensnared in a death trap, an unconventional team of antiheroes must embark on a dangerous mission that will force them to confront the darkest corners of their pasts. Find out the Thunderbolts* ticket date below.
The roster is stacked with returning favorites, including Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova, Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes, David Harbour’s Red Guardian, Wyatt Russell’s U.S. Agent, and more. It also includes new actor Geraldine Viswanathan as Val’s assistant, with incredible actor Julia Louis-Dreyfus returning as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine to pull the strings behind the scenes.
It was recently confirmed that the majority of the team roster, bar Taskmaster, will return in Avengers: Doomsday, suggesting that Thunderbolts* will have massive long-term consequences for the MCU’s future and that these characters could become big players in the future. With the introduction of Sentry (Lewis Pullman) in the film too, the power scales of the universe are about to be forever tipped.

We can exclusively reveal that tickets are expected to go on sale between April 2nd and April 9th, with most countries expected to get them on the 8th and 9th. This means that a US ticket date of April 2nd is expected, but it could be later within the timeframe.
The movie’s tone and visuals look starkly different from anything Marvel has done, leaning into a more grounded and emotionally charged atmosphere, which has drawn comparisons to A24’s darker storytelling approach and even led to an A24-style marketing approach which includes boasting the cast and crew’s links to the arthouse production company.
Along with the ticket sale dates, X user TheReelCritique also shared the first look at a Thunderbolts* style popcorn bucket available at Cinemark.
The release is only getting closer, and we are very excited to see what Marvel has crafted in this reimagining of their IP and hopefully, a new identity for them to carry onto more serious projects in the future.
