‘The Boys’ Season 5 CCXP Trailer Shows First Look At Homelander Ravaged World
The Boys has taken over CCXP and has released The Boys Season 5 CCXP trailer.
Following a year and a half hiatus, The Boys has finally begun promoting its fifth and final season and its looking to be a heavy one. The hiatus has not been an empty one however, with first looks at prequel show Vought Rising being released as well as the second season of Gen V, the college series that bridges the gap between The Boys Seasons 4 and 5.
Now the trailer for The Boys Season 5 has been released at CCXP Brazil and showcases our first looks at the season including looks at several of our leads in “Freedom Camps”, a world under Homelander’s (Antony Starr) tyranny, a cryogenically frozen Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles), and a Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) who is ready to destroy Supes once and for all using a virus.

The official synopsis for the season reads as follows:
It’s Homelander’s world, completely subject to his erratic, egomaniacal whims. Hughie, Mother’s Milk, and Frenchie are imprisoned in a “Freedom Camp.” Annie struggles to mount a resistance against the overwhelming Supe force. Kimiko is nowhere to be found. But when Butcher reappears, ready and willing to use a virus that will wipe all Supes off the map, he sets in motion a chain of events that will forever change the world and everyone in it. It’s the climax, people.
Also appearing in the series are Erin Moriarty as Starlight, Jack Quaid as Hughie Campbell, Laz Alonso as Mother’s Milk, Tomer Capone as Frenchie, Karen Fukuhara as Kimiko, Jessie T. Usher as A-Train, Chace Crawford as The Deep, Nathan Mitchell as Black Noir II, Colby Minifie as Ashley, Cameron Crovetti as Ryan, Susan Heyward as Sister Sage, Valorie Curry as Firecracker, Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Joe Kessler, Giancarlo Esposito as Stan Edgar, and Olivia Morandin as Zoe Neuman, all returning from prior seasons of the show.

Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins, and Daveed Diggs will also be joining the cast, alongside Gen V cast members London Thor (Jordan Li), Jaz Sinclair (Marie Moreau), Lizze Broadway (Little Cricket), Maddie Phillips (Cate Dunlap), Asa Germann (Sam Riordan), and Keeya King (Annabeth Moreau).
Prime Video Reveals Two New Posters For ‘The Boys’ Season 5
In conjunction with this trailer, two new posters for the series were also released, one showcasing Billy Butcher standing in front of a fallen Vought Tower (perhaps symbolising a win for the British vigilante) and another of Homelander in outer space watching the Earth implode. See them below:
Also at CCXP, Prime Video, the studio behind The Boys, revealed a release window for the series. Season 5 will premiere on April 8, 2026 with two episodes, releasing episodes weekly thereafter until May 20 when the series will conclude.

The first four seasons of The Boys are now streaming on Prime Video. Watch them below:
