The second season of Peacemaker follows the 11th Street Kids navigating life after saving the world from Project Butterfly. With their newfound sense of heroics, they hope to help the world in any way they can. Christopher Smith, in particular, hopes to join a team of heroes but is quickly rejected. Down on his luck he hits the jackpot when he comes across a parallel dimension of his dreams.

The first episode of Peacemaker Season 2 does have a post-credit scene. It’s a comedic scene where Christopher Smith jokes about 30 Seconds To Mars and goes as follows:
The post-credit scene features Christopher Smith and Emilia Harcourt and appears to be a continuation from earlier in the episode. Harcourt says, “Can’t be looping Spin Doctors in with Thirty Seconds to Mars. Spin Doctors is so good.” Chris responds, “Oh, jeez. Anybody’s better than Thirty Seconds to Mars. That garage band I was in for two seconds is better than Thirty Seconds to Mars.”
This band had some significance to a certain DCEU actor, Jared Leto, who played The Joker in 2016’s Suicide Squad. Jared handles lead vocals, guitars, bass, keyboards, piano, and synthesizers alongside his brother Shannon Leto, who handles drums and percussion.
Peacemaker Season 2 is created by James Gunn and stars John Cena as Christoper Smith / Peacemaker, Freddie Stroma as Adrian Chase / Vigilante, Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr. and more. The first episode is now streaming on HBO Max. The second episode premieres on August 28th at 6:00 PM PT / 9:00 PM ET.
