With the premiere date of Alien: Romulus inching closer and closer, marketing is ramping up with the release of the official trailer.

New ‘Alien: Romulus’ Trailer Highlights The Return Of The Xenomorph

Fede Álvarez’s next film, Alien: Romulus, has released its second trailer.With it, we have new looks at Rain Carradine (Cailee Spaeny) as well as first looks at Isabela Merced, Archie Renaux, David Jonsson, Spike Fearn, and Aileen Wu’s characters. In the trailer,  we also see some Face Huggers, and of course, the mascot of the franchise, the Xenomorph.

It has been a long few months for Alien fans since the first teaser was released back in March. Luckily, the wait is over, and you can watch the official trailer now: 

Synopsis: “Alien: Romulus takes the phenomenally successful Alien franchise back to its roots: While scavenging the deep ends of a derelict space station, a group of young space colonizers come face to face with the most terrifying life form in the universe.”

We were also granted a poster, which depicts a face hugger attached to Aileen Wu’s character. You can view the poster below.

Alien: Romulus is directed by Fede Álvarez and stars Cailee Spaeny, Isabel Merced, and Archie Renaux. The film is distributed by 20th Century Studios and will be released in theatres on August 16, 2024.
