‘My Adventures with Superman’ Spinoff ‘My Adventures with Green Lantern’ Revealed
Goodbye Metropolis, hello space. My Adventures with Superman is getting a spin-off, and this time Jessica Cruz is taking the wheel.
Adult Swim series My Adventures with Superman is set to receive a spinoff, My Adventures with Green Lantern, ahead of its third season.
My Adventures with Superman has a bit of an infamous reputation among comic book media fanbases. On one hand, it receives praise for its heartfelt relationship between lead characters Clark Kent, played by Jack Quaid, and Lois Lane, played by Alice Lee. But on the other hand… Audiences dislike the characters and costume designs, criticizing it for playing too safe and tech-futuristic.
Following the second season of the show, which introduced Lex Luthor, and continued the story of Amanda Waller and Task Force X, a spinoff has been revealed in a press event held by DC Studios co-heads James Gunn and Peter Safran. At this conference, it was revealed that My Adventures with Superman will be receiving a spin-off at Adult Swim and DC Studios, titled My Adventures with Green Lantern.
What Is ‘My Adventures with Green Lantern’ About?
The series will revolve around Jessica Cruz, a young high school student who has her life upended when a Green Lantern ring falls from the sky. Debris falling from the Lanterns’ war ship arrives posing a new threat as alien foes follow along. The spinoff series will be showrun by Jake Wyatt, who also showruns the Superman counterpart series. Joining him as an executive producer is Stephanie Gonzaga, who previously worked on My Adventures with Superman and Invincible.

Production on My Adventures with Superman S3 is currently underway, with the season expected to be released by the end of the year. The show stars Jack Quaid as Superman, Alice Lee as Lois Lane and Ishmel Sahid as Jimmy Olsen.
