From composing the Marvel Studios Spider-Man films to compsoing the Marvel Studios fanfare and directing his own Disney+ special, he is a beloved part of the Marvel machine. Now, Giacchino is set to return to Marvel for Spider-Man: Brand New Day according to a new report from The Hollywood Reporter’s Heat Vision newsletter.
The move marks his fourth Spider-Man film, following Spider-Man: Homecoming, Spider-Man: Far From Home, and Spider-Man: No Way Home, as well as his eighth Marvel Studios film overall. It also marks his first time collaborating with Destin Daniel Cretton, the director of Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

It is unclear whether Giacchino will continue to use the current Spider-Man theme given the new beginnings of the fourth film, but due to how iconic it is by this point, its likely going to stay a constant.

Up next for the composer is Spider-Man: Brand New Day, followed by Ray Gunn, the latest directorial from Brad Bird, director of The Incredibles, reuniting the two for the first time since Incredibles II.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and stars Tom Holland as Spider-Man, Zendaya as MJ, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, Michael Mando as Scorpion, Jon Bernthal as The Punisher, Jacob Batalon as Ned Leeds, Marvin Jones III as Tombstone.
