Metropolis Centric ‘Harley Quinn’ Season 5 Trailer Confirms 2025 Debut
Gotham’s worst couple are back in the first trailer for Harley Quinn season 5.
One of the longest-lasting DC series of the past decade, Harley Quinn, has just dropped a brand new trailer ahead of a long-awaited fifth season. Watch the full Harley Quinn season 5 trailer below.
The trailer sees Harley and Ivy pick up and move from a heavily deteriorating Gotham, and move to the haven of Metropolis, as a change in scenery. But that doesn’t mean we’ve seen the last of the core cast, with Clayface, Bane, Joker, Frank, King Shark, and more making appearances in the trailer. The season’s logline reads as follows:
The fifth season of Harley Quinn finds Harley (Kaley Cuoco) and Ivy (Lake Bell) in a new location: Metropolis! – the home of all things Superman, Lois Lane, and the Daily Planet. Harley and Ivy discover that something sinister is at play and all is not what it seems. Looming threats include Lex Luthor and his sister, Lena Luthor, plus fan-favorite Brainiac. But of course, Harley’s crew of misfits and allies will join her on this irreverent journey that takes no prisoners in having fun in the DC sandbox.
It’s worth noting that the marketing of the season does not indicate that this is the final season of the show, despite many theories alleging a cancellation following a slow promotion lead up in the latter half of 2024.
A poster for the season was also released, with a caption that spoofs an iconic Beastie Boys song, which you can view below.
Harley Quinn stars Kaley Cuoco, Lake Bell, JB Smoove, James Adomian, Alan Tudyk, Diedrich Bader, Ron Funches, Stephen Fry, Natalie Morales, and Aisha Tyler. The series will officially debut as a Max Original on Max on January 16th, 2025.
