‘Fantastic Four: First Steps’ Gets A Disney+ Release Date

Witness the adventures of Reed, Sue, Johnny and Ben when the latest Marvel film hits streaming next month.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps follows the journey of the titular team approximately four years after they were hit with cosmic rays and became the protectors of Earth. The group is adored by many of the Retro-Futuristic 1960s New York residents but they are called into question when the herald known as The Silver Surfer warns the planet of the imminent arrival of her master, Galactus. The film, set in the alternate universe of Earth-828, is the beginning of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s sixth phase which is followed by the recently released Eyes of Wakanda in August and Marvel Zombies in September. The next entry in Phase Six is Wonder Man premiering on Disney+ on January 27th, 2026.

Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps introduces Marvel’s First Family—Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Ben Grimm/The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) and Johnny Storm/Human Torch (Joseph Quinn) as they face their most daunting challenge yet. Forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, they must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer (Julia Garner). And if Galactus’ plan to devour the entire planet and everyone on it weren’t bad enough, it suddenly gets very personal.

Today, almost three months since the film hit theatres on July 25th, the streaming release date has been announced for the film. The Fantastic Four First Steps will be available on Disney+ on November 5th, which is approximately 15 weeks since the film’s theatrical debut, a new announcement trailer has been released which you can view below:

Additionally a new poster was released which features the team consisting of Ben Grimm / The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), Johnny Storm / The Human Torch (Joseph Quinn), Reed Richards / Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal) and Sue Storm / The Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby). The Fantastic Four: First Steps is directed by Matt Shakman and stars Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm, Julia Garner as The Silver Surfer, and Ralph Ineson as Galactus. The film premieres on Disney+ on November 5th.
