Marvel Television’s ‘Vision Quest’ Series Wraps Filming
Just as Disney Plus’ Punisher special presentation begins production, another Marvel project, ‘Vision Quest’, wraps its filming.
Since WandaVision launched the television side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe back in 2021, Marvel Studios’ television division has released fifteen shows, with a further three releasing later this year. To keep up with this extensive output, more and more projects are put into development including spinning off existing TV shows. One of these spin-offs, known currently under the title Vision Quest, has just wrapped filming.
First announced in October 2022, Vision Quest was originally in development from Jac Schaeffer, who also helmed Agatha All Along. Behind-the-scenes shifts led her to leaving the project and Star Trek: Picard’s Terry Matalas joined the series in May 2024. The show, surrounding the future of the White Vision (Paul Bettany) we last saw in WandaVision, as he grapples with new threats and old foes, including the likes of Ultron (James Spader), Jocasta (T’Nia Miller). Many of the AI characters from the MCU slate such as JARVIS, EDITH, and FRIDAY, are all expected to return.

The series began filming March 14, 2025, in London under the production title Tin Man, and has now officially wrapped filming, per a wrap party revealed by photographer Dennys Illic. This means that the production of the series lasted approximately 128 days.

Whilst the TV show will now enter post production ahead of an expected 2026 air date, all eyes are now to the plot of the series, which will seemingly address the dealing of arms, with the casting of Faran Tahir as Ten Rings faction leader Raza, who reprises his role from the first ever MCU film, Iron Man. This is a plot line that many have theorized has been carried over from the doomed Armor Wars film, which tentatively starred Don Cheadle, reprising his role as Rhodey / War Machine.
Vision Quest is developed by Terry Matalas and stars Paul Bettany, James Spader, T’Nia Miller, Emily Hampshire, and Faran Tahir.
Vision Quest is expected to air on Disney+ in 2026.
