‘Marvel Rivals’ Iron Fist, Moon Knight, And Twitch Skins

This week’s update brings the Iron Fist “Binary Fist”, Moon Knight “Phoenix Knight”, and Magik “Will of Galacta” Skins.

This week on Marvel Rivals, we have a new skin in the Binary collection, Iron Fist and one of the first Phoenix Force skins. The “Binary Fist” Iron Fist outfit and “Phoenix Knight” outfit will be available in the item shop from June 19th at 7 PM PT / 10 PM ET. Both are Epic Rarity and as such will cost 1600 Units (Approximately $16 USD) each, there will also be a limited time bundle for the two which costs 2200 Units (Approximately $22 USD).

The “Binary Fist” outfit is the third skin for the Binary collection. Players can currently obtain the “Binary Sword” outfit for Magneto through the premium version of the combat chest which is available for purchase until the end of Season 2 on July 11th. Additionally, purchasing the premium combat chest (690 Lattice or approximately $7 USD) will allow players to keep it permanently giving players the ability to complete it at their own pace.

The “Binary Arrow” outfit for Hawkeye is currently obtainable through the Limited Time Event, “Cerebro Database II”. The event is available now until June 27th at 1 AM PT / 4 AM ET. Players must complete all 4 parts of the event to unlock the outfit.

Note: Both the “Binary Sword” and “Binary Arrow” may be purchasable at a later date.

The “Phoenix Knight” outfit for Moon Knight is the first of the Phoenix Force collection, the latest Gallery Card, also obtained through the Cerebro Database II event, teases the plot of Season 3. This involves the heroes facing off against the Symbiote God, Knull and the description teases a “primal force of the universe” which likely relates to the Phoenix Force.

In Marvel Comics, the Phoenix Force is a cosmic entity which is described as an “immortal, indestructible, and mutable manifestation of the prime universal force of life.” Its existence predates that of darkness and the universe. It is the nexus of all psionic energy throughout the Multiverse and represents the cycle of life, death and rebirth.

The Phoenix has had many hosts, relating it to the characters in Marvel Rivals. Emma Frost, Magik, Wolverine, Namor, Storm, Thor, Magneto, and Punisher have all been hosts at some point. Whether we see skins for all these characters is unknown, however each category has had a minimum of 4 skins each.
