‘Marvel Rivals’ First Look at Daredevil Coming In Season 4.5
During the latest Dev Vision we have our first details on Daredevil, who joins the roster on October 10th.
In the latest Dev Vision, “Marvel Rivals: Season 4.5 Update! // Dev Vision Vol. 10” Creative Director, Guangguang shared some new details about the game’s fourty-third hero, Daredevil. We first received some lore details about the upcoming character, specifically about his moral compass. Guanguang mentions that he’ll have to choose between helping the Eight City to regain its place among the Capital Cities of Heaven or do a “necessary evil” for the greater good.
Guangguang then moved on to detail Daredevil’s role as Duelist and some of his skills such as “Daredevil’s iconic radar sense makes all evil visible; nothing escapes his ‘sight’ ” which could indicate that the character will be able to view all enemies on the map at all times. Daredevil appears to be able to focus on one enemy and unleash a flurry of melee attacks with his billy clubs. The Beast which was teased in the Season 4 trailer also comes into play, Daredevil will be able to harness The Beast’s power to amplify his attacks. His Ultimate seems to stun any enemies that look at him allowing players to take out the opposing team easily.
Fans will be excited to know that Daredevil will feature a Team-Up Ability with The Punisher called “Bestial Hunt” which allows Punisher to shoot a projectile at an enemy limiting their sight to a small radius while also dealing a small amount of damage.
Additionally, the “Ragnarok Rebirth” team-up between Hela and Thor has been removed permanently while Namor has been removed from the “Gamma Charge” team-up, Hulk and Black Panther remain. Namor instead gets a team-up with Hela known as Deep Wrath which allows Namor to summon a group of waterfalls dealing AOE damage, when Namor and Hela defeat an enemy they can also summon a ghostly squid that functions similarly to Namor’s already existing Squid turrets.
Next week on October 10th will be the official start of Marvel Rivals Season 4.5 and the debut of Daredevil. We can also expect a character trailer for the hero which can give us a better idea of his abilities, stay tuned for our coverage of his abilities when the time comes.
