In addition to the reveal of the Road Map, we have our first details on the event inspired by 2012’s The Avengers which we’ll discuss today.

The upcoming event is a Asymmetrical PVP Mode where one player takes the role of Loki against six other players playing as different heroes. Loki is equipped with a new set of abilities “combining deception, illusions, and powerful Infinity Stone abilities to turn enemies against each other.” The Avengers Team wins by defeating Loki or summoning The Hulk creating the iconic scene from the end of the film.

A Loki Outfit inspired by The Avengers will also be made available, at this time it’s unclear whether the outfit will be a free reward from the event or can be purchased from the in-game item shop.

Given that the Avengers: Age Of Ultron Event won’t begin until June, it’s possible that The Avengers event will last  over the course of Season 8.
