‘Marvel Cosmic Invasion’ Demo Available Now
Players can now experience some of what the latest Marvel Games title has to offer with a free demo.
The long-awaited demo for Marvel Cosmic Invasion is out now. Here is what you need to know.
Marvel Cosmic Invasion is an upcoming 2D beat-em-up title coming from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge developers, Tribute Games. The reveal trailer debuted at the March 27th, 2025 Nintendo Direct and showcased the invasion of Annihilus on Earth and how heroes from all corners of the Marvel universe have assembled to take on this new threat. A cosmic battle awaits! Choose between 15 Marvel heroes in this frenetic action beat ‘em up to fight against the deadly Annihilation Wave threatening the galaxy. From New York City to the depths of the Negative Zone, the future of the Marvel Universe will be fought for across the stars!
“The cosmos must fall so that I might live!!” So swears Annihilus, the living death that walks!
After an unprecedented attack is launched across the galaxy, all life hangs in the balance.
Nova, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Phyla-Vell, Captain America and many more heroes, both earth-born and cosmic, will join forces in a star-spanning brawling adventure against the deadly Annihilation Wave.
From New York City to the depths of the Negative Zone, the future of the Universe will be fought for across the stars in Marvel Cosmic Invasion!
A demo has been released for the upcoming game, which is set to release later this year. You can view the demo trailer below:
The demo will feature nine (of the fifteen) playable characters and they include Rocket Raccoon, Nova, Phyla-Vell, She-Hulk, Venom, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Storm, and Captain America.
The demo will also feature two levels, New York City and The Helicarrier. Players don’t have to face them alone as local and online co-op play is also available. The demo is available for free exclusively on Steam.
Marvel Cosmic Invasion is developed by Tribute Games in collaboration with Marvel Games. The game is coming to Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4/5 and Xbox Series Systems in 2025. The free demo is available now on Steam.
